About Tampa Bay Pontoon Rentals in Gulfport

Locally owned, FWC livery permitted, and built around one meticulously maintained 2026 TriToon. A Gulfport slip, and a day you either run yourself or hand to a captain.

Quality, Safety, Local Expertise

A Premium Day on the Water, Run Like a Charter

Our 2026 TriToon is modern and meticulously maintained. The shade, the seating and the deck space are set up for a full day on the water, so a long afternoon at anchor stays comfortable from the first stop to the last.

Cruise the Intracoastal Waterway, anchor at a sandbar near Bunces Pass, or spend the afternoon along the Boca Ciega Bay shoreline with friends and family. The boat handles all of it, and the day is yours to shape.

Locally owned and operated, we know Tampa Bay because we live here. Renting with us is not only about getting a boat. It is about having someone on the dock who wants your day to be safe, memorable and genuinely easy.

How We Operate

What You Get When You Book With Us

Four things matter most in how we run a rental day, and together they are why renters come back.

Meticulously Maintained

The 2026 TriToon is spotless. Its condition is the first thing most renters mention when they step aboard, and it comes up again and again in our reviews.

Backed by Our Charter Operation

Beach Charters By The Bay is our sister charter operation. The same care that goes into a private charter goes into your rental day.

Handled From Booking to Orientation

We handle the reservation, the confirmation, check-in, the safety briefing and the dockside walkthrough, so you know how the controls work before you idle out.

Locally Owned and Operated

We are out on this water ourselves. Ask which sandbar is best at low tide, or where to head when the wind picks up, and the answer comes from someone who was there last week.

Credentials

FWC Livery Compliance Permit

In Florida, a business that rents vessels to the public is a livery, and liveries answer to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. We hold a current FWC Livery Compliance permit and operate under those rules.

In practice that means the vessel carries required safety equipment, renters get a documented pre-departure briefing, and the boating safety education rule is checked before anyone takes the helm rather than after. It is also why we verify a photo ID at check-in.

It is a permit worth asking about anywhere you rent.

The Practical Part

What Renting With Us Looks Like

Every trip leaves the City of Gulfport Municipal Marina, which sits on the protected side of Boca Ciega Bay. That protected water is the reason first-time operators do well here. You get calm, well-marked, slow-speed water for a good stretch before anything gets demanding.

Both pontoon boat rental options use the same vessel. Drive it yourself if you are 21 or older and meet the Florida education rule. If nobody in the group wants the helm, choose someone from the freelance captains for hire, contact them directly, and pay them dockside on the day.

The specs, the seating and the onboard equipment are laid out on our 2026 TriToon pontoon boat. Most guests drive over from around the county. Gulfport is the shortest drive of the areas we serve, and downtown St. Petersburg is about twenty minutes away. What the day looks like from each is covered under pontoon rentals in Gulfport and boat rentals in St. Petersburg.

Questions before you commit to a date? Call (813) 445-7223 and ask. We would rather sort out the tide, the group size and the certificate over the phone before your date rather than at check-in.
